THE BEAUTIFUL EVE😻

Hi All

So great to receive all your support for our continued fight in the Clashindarroch. We feel like we are starting to gain the upper hand with the pressure we are applying across all fronts. We will provide full updates this Thursday on the legal work, the crime report we have submitted to police and our complaint lodged with Environmental Standards Scotland.

Rest assured we are going at it 100 percent, flat out.

In the meantime, wanted to show you this beautiful video of Eve. It was captured in the last 2 weeks (apologies, the date isn’t formatted on the video). As you can see, she has come through the winter wonderfully and is in prime condition. If you have the volume up, just listen to all the birds, alarm calling in response to her presence. She is in territory mode, not hunting mode. She is clearly enjoying the early spring sunshine and is visiting a key territory point. This fallen tree seems to be an important territory marking point and is visited often. You may recognise the spot as we showed a video of Finlay here last year. Speaking of Finlay, one of our team saw him last week, but he quickly vanished into the forest. We hope to get him on camera and will of course show you when we do.

Meanwhile enjoy this video of Eve, living wild and free and who knows, there may be tiny, humbug kittens growing inside her, just like last year. She is just gorgeous, a truly magnificent Scottish Wildcat. As always, we are hopeful of kittens in the future and we delight in observing without disturbance. Just the way it should be.
