EVE AND HER KITTENS

Hi All

There is so much going on but we wanted to update you on the kittens. We are very pleased to tell you that they are thriving. They are growing rapidly and are clearly enjoying their forest home, as we are picking them on numerous cameras. Sometimes, they are alone, sometimes together and they still often travel with Mum.

We will at some point put all the footage together as a compilation. As you all know, we have followed their story from pregnancy right through to present day, and it has been an absolute privilege to see. The mother has been exceptional, a protector, a provider and a guide. She is simply stunning and we have decided to call her Eve. We think it suits her nicely, we hope that you agree.

We chose this video as it shows the family together, enjoying the autumnal sunshine and off on an exploration. We just love the way that Eve stops, sits down and watches her beautiful offspring as they explore their environment. Just look at her tail as she slowly wafts it from side to side. A better wildcat tail you simply will not see and look at that pin sharp dorsal stripe.

The kittens are developing wonderfully. Look at the striping as the first kitten turns and look at how beautifully ringed the tail is. They are still too young to properly pelage scored, but they are looking very promising. We also think there is a boy and a girl, but we are still going through footage to see if we can confirm that.
