DEFINITELY SUCKLING KITTENS!!!!!!!

Hi All

We are incredibly excited about the pregnant female we have been monitorin, who is living right in the middle of Finlay’s rehoming area. The last video we showed strongly suggested that she was heavy with milk and suckling her precious kittens.

Well, there is absolutely no doubt now. We got lucky on one of the cameras and she dust bathed in from of it showing her underside. If you zoom in on the above picture you can see two teats either side of her back left foot. She is definitely suckling kittens. We have absolutely no idea where they are and we of course would never try and find them. Her safety, privacy and welfare are of paramount importance.

It is just beyond exhilarating to know that there is a litter of Kittens being nursed by this beautiful wildcat, tucked away safely in a secret den. Look at her think blunt tail, look how her dorsal stripe stops at the base of her tail. She is wonderful.

Who knows if or when we will see them. That is down to her and that is the very essence of freedom. We will of course keep you posted and you can see the video of her having a bit of ‘downtime’ and enjoying a dust bath at this link:
