Our aim is to save the purity of the Scottish Wildcat by removing the threat of hybridization in a humane way.

We will accomplish this goal by:

  • Detecting & identifying every feline

  • Neutering every domestic cat (for free)

  • Educating the local communities

  • Creating a network of community volunteers

We are the only organization focused on keeping the Scottish Wildcat where it belongs - in the wild, not in cages. We are also the only organization that treats feral and domestic cats with the respect that they deserve because we love all cats.

The Scottish Wildcat is the World’s Rarest Cat.

Wildcat Haven is a grass roots, community driven conservation project. We are the only Scottish wildcat conservation group focussed solely on saving the wildcat in the wild where it belongs. Our small and dedicated team is making a big difference, but we need your help.

There are only approximately 115 Scottish wildcats remaining in the wild making this the world’s most endangered feline. Read our guide to this most iconic of species.
